The collective bails and what a surf dog trip.. We explored the whole isle looking for waves, only two proved to be creative. Jordy slayed the left once due to his boards floating round Africa for the first 4 days. The most attractive scenery made up for the mystic goddesses that are believed to roam and were never seen. Left ramp wind teased for one afternoon though the right wedge proved to be very puntable. Reef wounds... Buckled quivers... clips logged.. the collective moves on.
We look into the distance and the end is near.

Morning check... waves are small so some local friends take us to a secret spot on the other side of the island.
On arrival waves look fun, one of the local guys threw this out while getting ready "let us test the waters if we are ok then you guys come out and surf".

Modern Blood
Old Sea
It’s a left, nothing fresh, no mystery, exposed.
St Leu has been quiet in the media for some time. Watching some footage while in Morocco we looked at the wave maybe a little different to some…. “wooh look at the punt section, it bends and grows down the line” Mitch Coleborn.
-Lets try some new moves on an old wave.
Mitch, Jordy & Dion pencilled themselves in for the trip. Just recently Dinggers buckled his foot thus leaving his spot open, who? The other collective members were all booked out. It would be a cameo that would fill the void. Craig Anderson has been on the radar for some time, some people say he resembles a youthful Machado with some pop.. Reunion, rob, mod, aa eee time will tell, book him a flight.
A sudden pulse in the Indian Ocean and the 3 bounced. The first two days have been fun maybe a touch too big, tomorrow the winds look like they should swing devil… perfect less crowds and the boards stick like glue.
One problem… Jordy’s boards have been MIA.
Can SA Airways hook J Man up... shit would be going down if the big man had his toys.

Super craft winner!
