Each trip will feature 3 surfers from the collective with Dane and Dion already tasting fine french wine Yades is the final surfer to take part in the france segment. Due to the WQS grind he missed the start of the trip and then flew 28 hours to find his boards were lost in transit..... though he does have one fluro orange sled in his kitty. Now all 3 are ready to throw some tail...very nice!

The Forest.

Today we took a journey into an unknown forest. The boys had heard stories of fun waves with minimal crowds we have also heard tales of a beach full of nude men with their baguettes flapping round in the wind. They travel far and wide to meet in a forest and take part in rituals we would rather not find out about.. yikes...! with huge crowds in town we took the chance of being attacked by creepy french men and found pristine euro wedges..

Dane’s sled..

Dane’s board has five fins! One of them is a giant raked thing you would see on a long board. Is this the future? Or could Dane flair on an ironing board…. Whatever the answer I’m sure the frenchies will be trading the FCS after seeing Dane throw this puppy round there fine beach breaks.

France:

Our second day began with a fresh steaming hot cup of mud at café de golf. We have grown to love the small local patisserie with there exquisite croissants and potent coffee. Once the java had kicked in we drove round like spanish gypsie’s until we finally found a nice little beachie set up. T Pee’s were breaking a stone’s throw away from naked women walking poodles, tasty lineup. Dane and Dion paddled out for a little slay though not much went down for the first surf of the trip. After watching the footage the boys came to the conclusion they were struggling from the first day gitters.

Idiot 1 Idiot 2

Modern Collective is on its way to france. Dion's voyage began early Goldy-Brisbane-Singapore-London (10 hour lay over)- Madrid-Bilboa-France....Why? we are not sure why he booked such a stupid flight path, the rest of the collective arrived a day later due to missing one of there flights. On arrival this is what we were confronted with. Filming for Modern Collective began shortly after.

And then there were six...

Greetings blog enthusiasts we at Modern Collective have decided too bang out a little blog so you can follow our production from its very primitive stages. Coming off Stranger Than Fiction the last Poor Specimen release we have cut down the numbers and released only six invites for the new movie. Five have been sent out and the final invite is up for one lucky human to bag over the next couple of months. We are hunting for ramps around the galaxy now, come on this voyage.
